The Burr Trail

The Burr Trail is a 68-mile road over mountains and high desert that a rancher in teh 1800's used to moved his cattle south into warmer weather. Now a scenic byway, attractions on the trail include the north trail head Boulder, Anasazi State Park Museum, Long Canyon, views of the Henry Mountains, Capitol Reef National Park, Waterpocket Fold, and ending at Bullfrog Landing of Lake Powell. If you are looking for more adventure, you can travel off the Burr Trail to Hanksville and on to Natural Bridges and Moab.
