Lal Bagh

Spread over an area of 240 acres, the garden attained the status of a Government Botanical Garden in 1856. Government Museum
Established in 1865 by the erstwhile Mysore State, the Karnataka Government Museum is the second oldest museum in South India. The museum has a large collection of coins, artifacts, arms and weapons, jewelry, and paintings from the past.
It is also where the oldest inscription in Kannada, the Halmidi inscription. Children will especially love the collection of coins used by the ancient civilizations that thrived in Mohenjodaro, Vijayanagar, and Halebid.
HAL Aerospace Museum

ISKCON Temples
Bangalore has two ISKCON Temples, namely, ISKCON Sri Radha Krishna Temple and Sri Sudarshana Narasimha Temple. The two temples have an important place in the travel and tourism in Bangalore as they attract not only devotees from India but from abroad as well.
These temples, which have Lord Krishna as their presiding deity, are indeed excellent places to visit while one is in Bangalore. ISKCON Sri Radha Krishna Temple is situated at Hare Krishna Hill in Rajaji Nagar, and Sri Sudarshana Narasimha Temple is located at Vaikuntha Hill on Kanakapura Road.
I grew up hearing about the soothing weather Bengaluru offers but sadly never got an excuse to myself to visit the city, but I often take virtual tours to some of the tourist attractions in the city, all thanks to Google Earth.

Bangalore is overlooked by travelers as it lacks the world-class, wow-factor sights of some other Indian cities. Those that do visit are often only stopping in to savor their creature comforts (think Marmite from Spar supermarket and purchasing clean knickers from M&S) before getting back on the road and heading north to Hampi or west to Mysore, Kochi or Goa.
